Souto de Moura – Colletor’s Edition – House Details 5
Souto de Moura – Collector’s Edition – House Details 5
The standard edition of House Details 5 is available for purchase on our website.
This exclusive collector’s edition, limited to just 10 copies, is available only through charity auctions.
The first live online charity auction took place on 11 March via the House Details Instagram account, raising €191 from the sale of two copies of House Details 5 – Collector’s Edition, a limited series of 10 with various extras created exclusively for these events.
We are sincerely grateful to architect Eduardo Souto de Moura for his generosity in signing the magazines and for authorising the publication of his project. Our thanks also go to the house owner, Dr Pedro Mendonça, to Souto de Moura’s team, and to engineers Manuel Pedro Melo, Adriano Cardoso and Marta Cardoso. Without their work, these charity auctions would not have been possible.
All proceeds were donated to the charity “Pontes de Caridade”, part of the Parish of Nossa Senhora de Fátima in Lisbon, whom we contacted to identify those most in need.

Five more charity auctions will be held this year.

For those interested in the auction, it’s worth noting that House Details 5 – Collector’s Edition marks the first time worldwide that an architecture magazine has released a true collector’s version. In 2019, with House Details 4 by Paulo Mendes da Rocha and Inês Lobo, it was also the first time in Portugal that an architecture magazine launched a two-volume edition. Later that same year, House Details innovated again, introducing a special boxed edition with additional “extras”. As often happens, these and other initiatives were eventually followed — sometimes directly, sometimes indirectly — by other publishers.
Our donation system is completely transparent: 100% of all funds and goods are donated. More information about the beneficiaries and regular donation recipients can be found on the House Details Magazine website, where all charity initiatives funded by publication profits are listed.
Thank you very much.
